Okay, enough jap from me, my jap vocab is veri the limited, better not pai-seh myself :P Anyway, just got back from the pasar-malam at the opposite block, bought a pirated CD of jap drama serial songs...really best buy man!!All the nice-nice songs on the same CD, thats what i like about pirated CDs. GTO, Overtime, Beach Boys, Under The Same Roof, Love 2000, etc...brings back memories of all those serials,and of course all the chio-jap babes like jiu2jing3fa2zi3 and shi2xi1(hmm...until now still dont know her real name) So happy today...managed to catch pokemon cartoon this morning, cos we were let out on fri nite this week.Then in the afternoon i went to the library, arcade, and sat in Mac, had a slow lunch and watched the world go by on a lazy Sat afternoon( i tell u, nothing is more relaxing than stoning...sigh, in the army all this is a luxury)Then at nite still had time to go pasar malam buy CD...ahh...bliss...if only every weekend was like this... | |

| Hmm...it seems u pple are planning to go Mambo on Wed nite, hiya how come nobody tell me?Guess its a little too late liao, considering i'm typing this on Wed nite. Oh well, maybe next time..anyway i am too tired out to go Mambo, stupid sit test, 3 days of field camp again...wah lau my rashes from last field camp havent recover yet another one come again. The first day was damn hot, the second day was pouring, the third day was damn hot, really wonderful weather we've been having these days. Certain parts of the sit test were fun though, like plucking coconuts while digging shit-holes. U see, we were tasked to dig shit-holes for our company during the camp. When we reached the spot, the whole place was surrounded by coconut trees, so some wacko guy started climbing the coconut trees and knocking off the coconuts(really reminded me of the coconut-picking monkeys of malaysia)Then we bashed open our coconuts and had a wonderful drink of coconut juice, free of charge. Of course nobody was really interested in digging the shit- holes so we left after making small indentations on the ground.good luck to the pple who need to use it lah...okay, enuff of that disgusting topic. Min'er, u just reminded me of my jap girls :P~~ sigh...i miss my jap serials...overtime, ice world,and a new one..i think its virgin road or something..the songs are very nice, i think i'll get the drama moods CD when i have the time. For now i think i'll go sleep and dream of some beautiful jap actress.. | |

| to add to paul....everyone thinks that the jap people all damn chio and yd and watsoever...but the average people on the streets are even worse than the average singaporean on the street....onli their actresses/actors/models more zai than ours only......and summore i find japanese so dam unreasonable...they want to get diferent paper bags for every little thing that they buy...think paper bag no need money ah....then the clothes they see liao juz throw back onto the shelf...unlike some angmos...at least MAKE AN ATTEMPT to fold it back....not that angmos are anymore reasonable...i had this customer once who came screaming at me for deducting money from his visa electron after i swiped it twice....like my fault i want to swipe it twice...is the stupid card cannot be read by the equally stupid machine...and the machine had no records watsoever that money was ever deducted...then the manager had to come out and pacify the customer while i stood there like a fool......singaporeans notmuch better...last time juz when i was abt to knock off(they like to make trouble when u are abt to close)...in swaggered a old man...then he told me to call the general manager/ceo jennie chua...say he wanna complain abt some certain asst manager who was rude to him. then i told him the dua-pai go home liao lah...(coz i work at nite mah)...then my supervisor came out and he(the old man) said he want to write a note to the jennie for jennie to call him back....then that time he was hungry and his friend stood him up for dindin (so qiao....) so he even angrier...started shouting at his poor sister who had to call his friend and tan pai.....then i had to go find extra big paper bags for him to put his stuff...oh...and the best part is...as he was asking my supervisor to write the note he told him,..."put down there...i'm the shareholder of the hotel...lee kuanyew wat brother-in-law...member of the exco of lions dunnowat..".all bigbig names throw out lah ...i wanted to slap him and say "i noe u duapai lah...but i'm tired hungry, thirsty and i wan to go home!!!!" but of coz i din....$ for the future more impt....hehehe...and du u noe why he wanted to complain in the first place...? he was in t-shirt and shorts with slippers on , dragging a trolley behind (that type ur mum go market with) and he gan gan walk into the lobby and asked the asst manager sumthing....hello....if u wanted to show how duapai u are...wear sumting appropriate!!!!...hey paul...so i understand how u feel...sorta like make u promise urself next time when u have the money and the status to throw ur amex GOLD arnd...u shld still smile and thank the service staff for every little thing they do....now all that i need is to zhong the tou jiang this weekend... | |

Met Wenkai too..he was bugging me about staff discounts! Sigh! Everyone bugs me about staff discounts ok! Wo3 hao3 fan2 ah!! Life in HMV can be really quite shitty at times...especially when you meet shitty customers who think a damn whole lot about themselves...as though they're princess diana..*pukes*. Others just bark at you for every little thing..sigh. And guess what I realised after working in the retail line for a month? Singaporeans and foreigners are both alike. Generally, they're just as rude (sometimes, the ang mos are even more bitchy than you can ever imagine, ok!)...and irritating!!! As usual, the RGS girls are the most irritating in the 'Teenage' category (debs, no offence...you're different from those morons). Next comes those who THROW their shiny gold visa / amex cards at you..oh boy. Of course, last but not least, parents who flare and grumbles when we're out of stock of CDs for their precious dearies piano/violin/what-not exams. AAAhhhh...sorry for grumbling so much. | whoa man..everyone seems to be having a great time..*sigh* heyy, someone's into surfing i see, well, welcome to the club, i took this course at europa once upon a time in sec 4 and well, lets juz say i'm not exactly ripcurl/billabong/quiksilver model material..but i spent most of MY TIME on the BOARD *stick tongue out* , though i din really move much..well.i think the winds juz ain't good..hee hee..the thing is to be garang and throw caution to the wind (and your fat ass too..wayyyy over the board *serious* ) and dun fear falling into the water..and when you do fall in, good luck to you cos getting up is HELL...heh..but when the winds are good (i.e., when i happened to be in the right position to move forward, the speed you go is quite cool, and just for that few mintues before i hit the water, the back ground music is "surfin USA" on full blast and my hair blows back, and I am the personification of COOL..and obviously my ego has grow muchmuch since my sec 4 days..=)) HEH, hrmz..mambo night..dunno lar..itz been awhile..and i may not even book out wed night cos i got Exercise Nightowl (read: something like test..and itz night movement) so really dunno lar..wish i could, anyway, even if i DO book out it'll prolly be too late, but i'll try , really..contact one of you to tell you if i can, most prob i tell nan.. I'm a supporter of McLaren-Mercedes (not Ferrari). So Happy!And my fav. driver is Mika Hakkinen, he's a Finnish and endorses Tag Heuer. He's so cool!! They call themselves Guerrilla Gardeners and they're planning to plant seeds all around the square. Sort of like Earth Day gone completely mad. Should be interesting... | yoz all.. just had my leadership field camp... in pasir lebar.. (sounds weird rite.. combi of paya lebar and pasir ris.. ) quite worst buy cos it rained every morning.. so i was wet the whole day.. but good in hte sense that cold was better than hot.... more comfortable... did navigation for the whole 3 dayz.. quite fun lah.. like some sort of treasure hunt... u walk as a section... some pple are the plotters.. some the navigator.. some take pace.. then tgt.. u can find ur way ard... however.. the stupid map is damned old.. some roads are non existant and there are some new roads too. :(.. and some of the checkpoints are located up a knoll... so quite shack when we "climb" up there... overall.. it is like an adventure camp.. except for the ants which came to bite us during the nite.. and the turnouts we had on the 2nd last nite and early morn the last day... lesson learnt.. never eat at the place u sleep... u got ant bites all ard u.. turnouts... argh... empty the fullpack .. put everything back.. fall in platoon level.. section level.. half section level.. knock it down.. crunches position change.. sit up change.. jumping jacks..etc.. one group had this interesting activity.. we call it the keblackang puseng game.. the instructor told them to turn at the command "seng"... and he said it at the rate of once every sec.. so they turn until dizzy dizzy liao... heh.well u can imagine what happens when pple are half awake and doing things => they do it like shit.. so everyone get punished... sigh.. oh yeah... it does not mean that is u change ur uniform everyday.. u will feel more comfortable.. cos after u change.. they will make u roll in the mud.. and it becomes dirty again... argh.. sianz... and the rashes thingie.. i think i have some on mi too.. so.. besides xush and i.. how are the rest doing? | |

| Lao worst buy! leasson of the week..NEVER EVER wear your clothes 3 days in a row..erm..the same set of clothes 3 days in a row..tuesday had obstacle course test..wore it ..covered in sweat whole day..wed and thrusday wore the SAME SET of uniform..and by thrusday night i had rashes so bad it covered my whole thigh..and that was rash specimen A, i had a diff species of rash on my arms, and species C on my butt..no kidding okay... heh..tell you all...the most shiok part abt field camp is the fireflies at night..you catch one then play wif it by letting it walk abt on your hands..itz very cute lar..then right...i think itz DAMN romantic to have your other half play wif them fireflies..cos they walk abt on your hands then you pass them back and forth..okie..i was playing with a few fireflies wif this platoon mate of mine lar..during bmtc..there was a lot of hand contact lar..thatz why i came up wif this idea thing is..herez the shocker..after we passed out..he told me he actually had FEELINGS FOR ME!! ARGH!!! then i recalled the times he was touching and well..caressing my hands in the dark in permatang campsite..ARGHhh!!!!! *freakout* oh well..anyway..now my life is pretty much what louis was doing past few days..every morn slap on camo..face like swamp thing..whole day run in grass and then jump here and there..then evening time come back..wipe it off, look like someone wif liver problem cos face half green/brown/black..heh..something funny..during meal times, veryone touches up their camo..so you see 120 odd guys looking into makeup kits..the ones wif mirrors..well..reminds me of a bunch of girls lar...heh.. and *sigh* i juz realized..radio reception there is like shit! cannot hear nuts one! itz lao worst buy! then right..my bunkmates juz realized why the room in the builiding right behind us is alwes dark and got blind..COS THE GIRLS STAY THERE! ARGH!!! bad feng shui man. and they hang thier undies out to dry everyday...and itz been rumored that from 5th floor, can look right into their shower..so itz eww sick and gross lar..heh. | |

| phew...just finished field camp, really sucks. Everyday run around like siao taking cover behind trees in the middle of a rubber plantation,sigh...very stressful, even lost my temper at one guy during night training,scolded vulgarities at him at the top of my voice...even I was shocked I actually did that(altho I had to admit it felt good :P).Fortunately the M16 rounds were louder than my screaming, so the sergeants didnt hear our argument. but there were a few good points though, I got to know the insects on Tekong real well, very educational, especially for the toad who hopped all over my pants while I was sitting down(lucky it didnt go into my pants...)Also got to see the sergeants do weird things,like after a few days in the jungle, they all become xiao liao, start singing The Name Game into the loudspeaker using all the sergeants' names.Then at nite they build a small fire, gathered around and started singing karaoke(when I walked past them they were singing Daniel Chan's liu2 xing1 yu3 :P)well, glad that the field camp is over anyway...hiya, enough crap, I shall go back to scratching myself all over( I think I'm allergic to grass or something...heehee) | |

| Hihi...its nice to be back...was rolling in the mud for a good part of the week, really hated it.I'm a cleanliness freak lah, cannot tahan dirt. Stupid wire obstacle course, everyone come out looking like swamp thing, so spastic. Lucky theres an extended break this week, i really have a lot of TV to catch up...i havent caught The Practice for ages, and the new Jap serials very nice also...love the Jap songs.Sigh, i dont want to go back..i wanna watch my tv!!!! I miss my tv!!!Must get them to install TVs for every bed in the bunk...and must come with cable channels.Hmmm....now come to think of it, room service would be nice too...ya....thats wat i'll do when i become commander of BMTC....i'll make sure every bed has a TV with cable, and room service for the bunks. | hi all :)... missed u all very much.. 1st things 1st.. the motto is "TO LEAD, TO EXCEL, TO OVERCOME"... :)... life has been rather "hectic" for mi.. in the sense that i run ard the whole school everyday for lectures and more lectures.. then got tests somemore.. TSR/TD this coming wednesday and military law next week... argh.. the seats in the main auditorium is damned shiok.. but that is worst buy.. cos when u slightly lean backwards... the feeling is so comfortable that u will almost fall asleep immediately.. and well.. and at this rate.. most of my weekends would be spent doing area cleaning...nothing much to say about the lectures.. dun wanna bore u all out.. got minimal physical exercise.. cos this is lobo tri-service term... highlights of the past 2 weeks.. 5m confidence jump in smart 4.. which the gals in moi platoon jumped FIRST.. the instructor put it this way.. "If the gals can do it.. i dun see the pt why u all cannot do it.."... 1 guy took 10mins up on the platform to gather enough courage to jump down :).. quite dramatic scene lah.. then got tower run .. another turn-out event.. (turn-outs were supposed to be events when u were awakened in the middle of the nite to do all sorts of funny funny things.. like touching the flag pole then go backto ur bunk and sleep..)... run up the OCS tower... 265 steps in all.. the view of singapore is marvelous man... as good as the view in westin stamford.. thou it is much lower... oh yeah.. my wing's(a synonym of company) name is called Sierra.. but when pple shout during cheering.. it sound like "Sia1lan1".. heh.. oh yeah.. the gals in moi wing damned power.. SMS scholars... 1 from hcjc.. 1 from njc.. 3 from brunei.. and 2 graduates.. they do push ups as good as any other cadet in OCS..I just drew my chemical protection suit for the gas chamber confidence course on monday.. looks quite seh.. but i look much fatter when i put it on.. :(.. yeap... looks like i won be seeing u all till next week.. take care :) | |

| hi all, I miss all of ya terribly, can those working pple meet me one day for lunch or something??? I'm getting a little desperate to meet at least some of you pple suddenly. So sorry I didn't go for all those outings but I have been very busy lately, and the timing simply wasn't right. I'll be going to Tioman this wkend so y'all will see a tan pris after this wkend! To update y'all, I'm still the same busy 'ol pris going around all the time, going for classes(bible college, tap, french etc), giving tuition, planning church stuff,going gym. My most recent feat was to go night cycling. I cycled all the way from my house(in serangoon) too east coast beach, along the beach, then all the way to changi and along the entire runway, to changi village( saw the bapoks of singapore), then to pasir ris, tampines and back home. I cycle until backside tear, very cham, but a great experience. I left home at abt 12:45 and reached home at 6am. We stopped to sleep for a few mins at a couple of bus-stops along the way coz it was simply exhausting! Cool huh?! | |

| Lao worst buy..i've upgraded from "excel thru basics" BMTC to "WITH PRIDE WE LEAD" SISPEC, which means going further into the heart of Tekong where itz pure jungle 360 degrees.. you knoe how M1 advertises that it covers 99.99% of singapore? WELL the whole of sispec juz found the 0.01%..SISPEC ground! serious! first night there where everyone calling girlfriend/mommy to report status, all the M1 people almost died of heart attack..the singtel people (Me!) weren't too hot either cos itz only good half the time, and right..pagers..if left in the metal cupboard..cannot receive shit, so hafta keep in wooden cupboard..SERIOUS! i din realize that till thrusday so i din get a single page till then..*sigh*..kena scolding by my fren summore.. juz an update..cheng iz in sispec also, chak is in military police (clementi), daniel still not posted anywhere, nan is in "TO LEAD TO ENDURE TO OVERCOME" OCS and zhongwei and patrick are missing in action..yapz..and esmond and louis are still in BMTC tekong..but esmond is working as medic and louis still BMT.. SISPec hor..damn cool lar..i feel so much more motivated to do stuff there..but the morale is damn low (huh? i also dunno what cock i talk)..seriously..first day in then everyone looked so sad..i quote yonghui, "At first hor, i prepared my 11b (IC) all ready to book out of tekong..then ..in the end, didn't even touch it at all..*DEEP SIGH* " yapz..i feel quite the same way too lar..sergeants dun give face/dun give chance..scream and shout and are well..generally very irritating... but right..i find what i learn so much more useful..and gotta admit..my sergeants really know how to impart skills..and we train to lead.. and hor..last time everything i learnt..the group drills, the procedures and the actions..all quite senseless ..now..the sergeants explain everything and not only that , they teach us how to TEACH OTHERS. and when possible, they explain stuff in terms of like..doing this for the sake of "your men".and therez a lot of psycho-ing around (SAF core values, Loyalty to country, discipline, leadership, professionalism, fighting spirit, ethics and care for soldiers)..and the worst part is..I'm BUYING IT! hard to believe right? hard core anti-establishment person like me actually liking this kind of bullshit..=) well..apparently, everyone has a chance to be a mini-leader, section commander, leader of 11 men..(my section at least) and guess whoz the section 2 sect-com? YOURS TRULY! TAH DAHHHH!!! of the 4 sect-coms, i can honestly say i'm the most efficient, and the most docile..in the sense that i shout at MY men the least( NEVER!! ) (the other 2 are bloody fake-o and rough tough psychos, the 4th is a wimp) but i still manage to get things done and settle squabbles amicably..hurray for me! heh..but the best is yet to be, next 6-7 weeks a lot of outfield training, where everyday have to camoflage paint your face..after last time's 5 day fieldcamp, i squeeze pimples already got green come out..and now i have to do it like..6-7 weeks in a row..so itz quite ouch..oh well..hey..just realized that each unit vocation actually has damn cool mottos.. commandos "A special breed of men-A cut above the rest" armour "Man. machine. Steel (and something else, i forget) " artillery " On Time ON target. " Infantry "By Land, sea or air, we will be there" signals "dunno what lar..something abt flashing " well..not very cool if you all read it here but if you see the posters of each unit in action, itz bloody cool. | Hi pple...this week was horrible for me...so glad to be home at last. Dunno why so suei...kena guard duty on Wed nite.Must walk around the stupid BMTC school like an idiot, and worse still, must go to the various guard checkpoints around the island, kinda like treasure hunt..very jia lat, middle of the night the whole place like ghost town,very creepy. I almost freaked out during my first round, cos some stupid idiot went to hang the dummy guy (used for bayonet fighting) on the pull-up bar of the SOC. In the dark it looked like someone hanged himself on the pull-up bar...nearly freaked me out, wah lau middle of the nite see that image can get heart attack one..then near the running track i heard a terrible screaming sound...like someone kena stabbed like that...also nearly freaked me out...i just assumed it was some psycho bird from the mangrove swamp near the sea( I hope I was right.) Then other pple also advise me to keep away from school 1 SOC low ramp...cos got funny happenings at nite, so i make a long detour.Soooooo tired...didnt really sleep the whole nite... The worst buy was the next morning, which was supposed to be rest for the guards, was no more rest cos it was IPPT and they order the guards to participate as well...so poor me got no sleep, actually got lah...i slept thru all the lectures later in the day:P The only good thing abt guard duty was that we got to clear the excess doughnuts from the cookhouse...whole night we were eating doughnuts... sigh...army life is so "exciting", I can hardly wait for next week... | |

Working in the classical section has been a pleasure, cos as you guys probably know lar, that area of stuff is my forte. Make me very happy to see a customer smiling and pleased with something which I have found for them....but oh well, of course there are also customers who are rather unfriendly and rude (oh, I dont' give a damn about those ppl). THe best part - meeting lots of people whom I personally know! Everyday! Can't be helped...the music world is hyper-small. | ok pple, juz got feedback from shuying dat u guys find mi veri unpredictable, sometimes veri on, sometimes veri off. for those who still dun noe mi yet (which is almost all of u), let mi say dis. de reason why i dun turn up for class outings during JC is 'cos i dun see any point in doing so. most imptly, my mum doesn't think so either, which is why i dun like going. what's de point of going all de way there n having to go home by 10pm. but if it's a gathering after graduation, she's fine, n yep, no curfew. abt de saturday outing... it's ok. i haven't killed anyone yet, so it's a good sign. my parang is still sitting under my bed, so dun try any tricks next time. since i'm on de subject, i realli suggest we revamp the contacting system. rather than going down de classlist, why dun we have several grps of pple, each led by a "head" dat the mastermind of de event will call. pros is dat de "head" will n should noe de movements of de pple under him/her, so he'll noe what time to call de others. eg. we noe dat serene is free n available on weekends, n kailing is never at home (to contact her, pager only), while fern is free when pple are busy, n busy when pple r free. yep, i guess dat's all i wanna say. BTW, i surf de net everyday at work from 8am to 5pm(it's my job), so u guys can try to entertain me *wink* | |

| For everyone's information...... 1)Yes, we did meet up with Min-er. She came over to my house and won a game of mahjong b4 we went downstairs for dinner. 2)We also DID head down to Holland Village and had a drink at Sole Luna. 3)We left the pub at 11.25pm and headed home. 4)MOst importantly, WE ARE TRULY SORRY about being soooo late in meeting up at Tiong Bahru MRT station. To allyson & Serene, sorry dears, Will u forgive me? 5)The rainy weather ruined our plans to go to Sentosa that day. May be we shld plan really well for a full-day trip to Sentosa. Any supporters? 6)The guys have all been posted to their various units...I wonder how they are getting on......Did Nan get into OCS? | |

| I know I"m boh liao. Just felt like crapping more. Today quite a funny day. 1)Went to Amara hotel for the Keppel scholarship talk...first thing..the moment I walked in ..I saw LOUIS! (btw, he looks more solid with porcupine hair..shuai dai!). Best buy lar! Then wah..the talk damn boring...I was trying super hard to keep my eyelids apart. (its worse than maths lecture, trust me). Then best again, 10.00am - tea break time! Louis and I went downstairs to Burger King, cos we didn't want to drink coffee with hundreds of people and those keppel personnels standing around you..So, 10.20am, we went upstairs...then met Daniel! He another sim singh, come late cos got some weirdo personality test by the usual psychotic PSA. And so, the 3 of us were """"enjoying"""" (notice the "" pls) ourselves in the """absolutely entertaining""" talk by Keppel. Ah. Wat a ""memorable"" event. 2) We went to Tiong Bahru at 12.40pm...WORST BUY! Ally and Serene today damn onz, me very excited..but when we got there...they left liao! wah rau!! So damn damn sad !! We thought nan would be there, but obviously...people came around 1pm. Xush and Nan bought lemon chicken rice and they squatted right outside the inner station gates to makan (what loyal and law-abiding citizens!) So then, we went to the TBplaza food court to makan. Xush left first to take his pri 5 sister for swimming lessons. The guys...talk lots of army stuff...damn cheem, but extremely funnny! 3)We went to Joyce's house. (or rather the rest except daniel and I. We both decided to go home to change and check our emails...anyway, we live terribly near joyce. 4)Dan and I met up downstairs (as usual) and walked to J's place. They were eating Cheng Wai's bee hoon. Btw, CHENG WAI'S BEE HOON is very nice to eat. Impressed siah. (I can't cook that, baby!) Then we makan makan makan, something we never fail to do, then we played bridge. The FUNNY part - the guys did 20 push-ups each time they lost the game. Somemore must say "Permission to recover, sir!"...and that kinda of sim singh...I seriously think the SAF is sooooo successful in training and brain-washing all the 18 year old males of our country. Well done, SAF! *salutes* Then later, joyce, cheng, dan and jac played mahjong. I slept on J's bed cos I was super tired (trying to recover from friday night's performance). Nan and I left J's place at about 6.10pm. That's all that happened...I think the rest met up with min er (yes/no?) and headed to Holland V for dinner (yes/no?). Ah, I have crapped enough. Its 12.09am. What a beautiful sunday...life is wonderful...hahahahahahaha | |

| I noe I very the chang(2) qi(4), but I was juz thinking that this may be my last entry for the class diary for a long time to come (I'm quitting this office job in a week's time).....so I betta write more....Moreover, the guys' block leave ending soon, betta write more for them to see b4 they lose the chance to log on again..... The class outing on Wednesday wasnt exactly sucessful, but I believe everyone that turned up had fun. I'm truly glad to see u 10 pple whom have turned up. It had been such a long time ago since such a BIG group of us went on the streets together. =) From the way u guys put it, BMT sounds like real fun, eh? All the international cuisines eg. Chestnut Rice, Satay pasta, etc., the thrills and spills of field camp and clearing obstacle courses.......I really cannot imagine u guys' life without BMT....(sure very kong xu ji mo rite???) Louis: Hang in there, ur share of fun (and torture)is on its way....we sure hope u have as much fun as the others...=) Rongjian had been enlisted on 5/4/2000. The day we had our class outing.....lets ask him out the next time round he books out. Does anyone noe if the class diary entries would be automatically deleted after a certain limit? If so, then I betta print it out so that we can have a hard copy for keepsake.....We cant afford to lose our last and only CLASS DIARY!!!
