I agree with Xush abt the Zouk thingy......I noe of a lot of pple who are planning to go there on Fri...I think we betta try somewhere else....I'm onz abt the chalet thingy with BBQ.BUT, I'm SORRIE to inform u guys that i am currently under curfew.....can go home late...BUT cannot stay overnight.....then again....maybe can bluffbluff with my sister...heehee. First day: We have dinner together on weekday night, then go some nice spot to sit down and chat. We all go for outdoor games....maybe cycling, kayaking and then end with BBQ? Howz that? | okie this is my 2nd entry. coz i sorta forgot abt this book...until da niu reminded me juz. since everyone is updating their jing kuang....1)I'm not always busy, but i always have no time for stuff (see note below).....2) which leads to the 2nd point that any outings that i can go to cannot be spontaneous and must arranged at least 2 weeks b4hand....well..unless joyce opens her mouth(ren jia sheng fen bu tong mah) ....3) i think my cough has already lasted 3 weeks...but i din get an MC....4)work is okie, i get to sleep whenever i like and read magazines every evening....that's the nice part....but of coz got not nice ones.....5)i met some nice people...that are mothers at jap class.....and some irritaing ones at work that expect me to solve their love problems...(duhz..as if i got experience).....6)i have tapes piling up my shelf as they keep accumulating....7)i mostly yak away on the phone from 11.30 pm to god knows when......8) which means i sleep on my bed for only ~5 hours a day which makes the kingkoil radio ad invalid. .....9)that's abt it. i regret to say that i dun even have time to listen to radio or wash my hair so i bu ke neng you time to miss u all.....(i hide first...everyone will hantum me....)...but on weekend whenever i have time still got a bit miss lah.....sigh..i dun mind listening to lao se mao's lecture now....but then i guess i'll prob sleep thru it again. *note* the difference between busi and no time is : BUSY- u are rushing to do things within a time period. It's as though I can still hear the laughter of everyone, the carom games..the dumb corny jokes. Felt pretty sad. But I"m looking forward to a new beginning in university. An exciting beginning, hopefully. But I know its not gonna be anything like the good times we had in hwachong. To the future, cheers. :) | |

| Lao worst buy! they call me the man who can finally pass his IPPT! stewpid broad jumps..=P anyway..finally passed everything successfully, and almost brought tears of joy to my sergeant's eyes..(renactment of the scene: SGt: linshuxun..how? Me: PASSED! SGT: *BIG SMILE* VERY WELL DONE..) erm..FYI, my sgt is a super ICE KING..the fact that he said very well done means a lot..so there..=P anyway..update on lao xush..after 10 weeks, i have "excelled through basics" (BMTC motto)and in the weeks to come..i would love "to endure, to excel and to overcome" (OCS motto) but i think i'll most likely "endure and excel" (SISPEC (suffer in silence plus extra confinement)motto) (hey! they sounds suspiciously similar..)and well..worse come to worse..get dumped in the SAF band..but who cares! I love the army, the army loves me, i'll do anything the army asks of me. BTW..joyce ah..last i heard, zouk opens on 8th..but phuture and velvet open liow..go there also can.. BTW..24km march damn fun man..no kick at all..the secret is to sing continuously non-stop..it was like ONE BIG karaoke session..and at one point of time..terence jee, the nj guy (ex 98s71) and kaiyang, (98s75)..led a few traditional hcjc campfire songs so really quite kick..super high morale..but it really takes quite a toll on your body, cos the abrasions at the groin area..ALSO VERY ouch..and well..i had weird rashes on my butt..cos my underwear was soaked wif sweat from 7:30 (start) till like 1930 (time when i took off my clothes at home) and well..now got weird rashes that look quite cute..yep..prolly brings on the babes.. kao..daniel and louis..i think you all damn shuang man..super lobo liow..my last week of bmt was..quite lobo also..got chance to take afternoon siesta..got chance to doze off here and there..but when itz siong itz really quite ouch..but well..one gets used to it.. really you know..during the 24km road march..we walked around trekong..then my platoon got quite nostalgic abt certain areas..like the fieldcamp site ("thatz where we shit remember?" "thatz where we chiong sua" "thatz where we..") the SIT test site ("@#$%@# sia..walk this crap place again" "wah kao..cobra land man..") =) some lessons i've learnt from the people around me... 1) IT is possible to take a shit and get clean wif ONE SHEET OF TOILET PAPER..dun ask me how..2 guys can. 2) it is ALSO possible to run up 5 floors, take a shit, and then come down, all within 3 minutes, buit well..the guy confessed his butt wasn't really very pleasant to smell..=) 3)It is humanly possible to NOT change any article of clothing thruout 5 days of fieldcamp..no, not even undies.. 4) socks can be worn for 7 days in a row (stunt frequently performed by yours truly.) 5) not shitting for 5 days in a row and eating more than you usually do may lead to a big problem. (appendicitis, my buddy got it.) 6) you can get so tired you fal asleep the minuted your head touches the pillow and the next thing you know..itz time to get up. (i get this all the time) 7) when things go bump in the night, IGNORE. my bunkmate had his cupboard dented in a WEIRD way., such that it cannot be repairedno matter how much we whack it..and my rounded mosquito net hook straighted out to a 90 degree angle and got pulled out of the wall OVERNIGHT. and we see well..stuff ard once in a while..thankfully.. | |

| hi all!! pleased to informed u that the nanny u once knew is now a ROUGH, TOUGH soldier.. (as the commanding officer had put it... duh) anyway.. rehearsal is the most Xiong part of BMT.. esp the running back to company line to get ur duffel bag and change the things with those in ur fullpack and reentry into the parade square in 5 minutes.. mind u... akan meharat.. cepa lari.. (which means.. RUN FORREST!!!) yeap... finished my 24km and i am proud of it.. cos 2/3 of moi platoon reported sick to skip the 24km route march... sigh.. so the strength was.. 5 and 2 blank files... which equates to ... 13 pple... imagine.. platoon shrink to section size.. so the PC just said.. section 3.. fall in! (err.. independent events miss wong appeared after pauline appeared.. what a coincidence) ...Talked for a while b4 the rest went home.. so left only mi and miss wong..then she exited from the gate and i went to top up my transitlink card.. she followed.. then we continued chatting while waiting... when it was my turn.. an old lady suddenly appeared and ask mi to help her top up her farecard.. I did..and when i tried to top up my farecard.. it was the exact closing time for the machine.. 2300h.. best buy.. and i din have coins to get the single trip tix.. and somemore the machine to change $2 to coins was spoilt... luckily there was miss wong as the $2 change machine.. guess what she said b4 she left?... | The case of the colonels who almost landed in KFC as Colonel burger => It was last week I had range practice and trial test.. but the colonels had to come and disrupt the training when we were shooting...day and note somemore.. they took up 18 lanes... | Hi pple!! As usual, its been another lobo week for me. Monday and Tuesday was more xiong, cos I got no MC and there was this horrible 4km run. Fortunately, great acting on my part did wonders. I didn't feel like running cos I had a stitch, so I took my time and lagged behind. Everytime the sergeant forced me to run, I just bent down and started coughing and wheezing like I was going to faint, until he didnt dare to push me. Then on Wednesday, I went to see my heart specialist cos she made the appt a year ago. She is going to do some echo scan next Tuesday, so in the meantime she gave me excuse from physical exercise, which means I am lobo once again. Even I can't believe I am so lobo. I think I will get fat in no time...the pple in my bunk stock up snacks like we were hit by the Y2K bug. Just this afternoon, we ate a large box of Ritz Bits a whole tube of Pringles, and some Cadbury and Snickers chocolate bars. Last few days we had biscuits, tubes of Oreos and even Hersheys cookies and cream( that was heavenly by the way). How to ever pass IPPT like this? hahahahahaha.....I don't care....hahahaha...I'm mad....hahahaha... Oh ya...today's only Friday nite, but I'm out cos tomorrow got PSC psychometric test,and I managed to convince my sergeant (with a lot of sweet talk)to let me out early. If u all noticed, I recently talk a lot of crap, entries all long long one...yup thats what happens when u stay on that stuuuuuupid island for too long...u go mad and start talking lots of crap...hahahaha.... | |

| Hihi pple!! I'm back in action liao...as they say in tekong, I am 'Fighting Fit Yaa'!! Anyway, life is still pretty good, cos this whole week no lower limb exercise, ie we only do upper body stuff...that means no running, jumping, soc, etc...so I am still very eng, I even had time to write my scholarship essays over there!! The sergeants also in a good mood this week, keep talking cock with us the whole time and seldom pump us even tho the whole platoon always take their own sweet time. But I was quite pissed off on Friday, cos i kana 'volunteered' to go help the CQM( company quarter master)move stores. Terrible I tell u, dunno where they got some dirty stinking metal lockers for us to move, then must carry up to second storey..wah lau...go back I whole body aching liao. Oh ya Nan, that was when u saw me marching that day lor, we were just going back after moving the lockers, sigh, free labour sucks... Another funny thing, on Friday nite the sergeant came to sleep in Section 1's bunk, (me next door in Section 2), cos they say the corner bed got ghost, every time the fella's pillow will be found placed nicely under the bed.One guy met this weird person along the corridor while taking midnite pee,and the weird person started a conversation with him. Not knowing who the weird person was, this guy just answered casually, then he kana scolded by the weird person, cos the weird person says he is not a recruit, so the guy shouldnt talk like that to him. The next day, the guy fell sick and attend C... So all in all, it was a pretty interesting week. | Seems like the pple are quite quiet these dayz... busy probably.. well.. i have just survived the field camp which basically reminds mi of the scenes in "Blair Witch Project" cos we pitch basha tents in the rubber plantation... then late at nite... u hear wild boars.. FROGS that sound horrible... crickets and those nocturnal birds that make knocking sounds... the bed is 100% earth, 0% cotton for maximum discomfort... and insects feast on ur hands.. particularly the sand flies and MOSQUITOES that come in PLATOON level... well... after 1 week at field.. became more appreciative of everything.. esp the cookhouse food.. which is now considered delicious compared to the boring combat rations... The worst buy thing that happened to mi... got to dig SHIT HOLES for the company...TWICE!!!! cos duty platoon mah.. and struck "GOLD" many times... there is absolutely no sense of hygiene.. and i am still surprised that i did not fall sick ... din wash hands b4 eating.. din even bath for 5 days.. only powder bath and was given 1 jerry can of water on wednesday to so some body cleansing... was really glad to be able to get back to company line yesterday and sleep on the king koil mattress.. :) well.. to all pple out there.. the same old line..
